When Sara had the opportunity to ride horses again during her middle school years she knew this would become her full time passion. Sara began training in the discipline of Dressage and in 2014 purchased her horse Sassy. In 2016 Sara made the decision to focus on Eventing. Sara was able to qualify and compete at the 2017 American Eventing Championships. Sara has been the President of the Georgia Dressage and Combined Training Youth Board for 2 years.
